While spending 40 years in the private business sector, I was involved in many aspects of church life, including 20 plus years as a Sunday school teacher. When I felt God calling me to full-time service, I became involved in the Licensed Local Pastor program of the United Methodist Church. After a time of study, I was appointed to a half-time position as visitation pastor at Salem UMC in Manheim. I was then appointed to Faith UMC in Manheim Township in 2001 and served there nine years until retired this past June.

I live on the family farm along Fruitville Pike with my wife, Pat. We have been married since September of 1958. We have three children, four grandchildren and one great grandson. Life is good. God is good.
