CRISIS

Called to CareVolunteers provide meals, transportation to appointments, help with pet care, house care and much more for people in crisis situations.

ENCOURAGEMENT

Pass It On – Caregivers visit 70 and over members who are celebrating a birthday.

Coed Care – A team that sends cards, care packages and prays for our college and graduate students throughout the year.

Card Care – A team that sends cards to those celebrating special birthdays, anniversaries, newborns, homebound and those experiencing grief or recovering from injury.

Crisis Care Food Cupboard – Food donations are always needed for families in crisis.

Stamps of Love – Stamping enthusiasts who meet monthly to design and make beautiful cards for care ministry groups.

Caring Stitchers – Knitters and crocheters who create a variety of items in quiet prayer and contemplation.

GRIEF

Funeral Care – A caring team that meets with grieving families to help plan, coordinate and oversee the funeral service of their loved one.

Grief Care – A team that provides support to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one through cards and phone calls for one year.

PRAYER

Prayer Card Research Team – Collects and prays over all prayer cards and e-prayer requests collected throughout the week.

TeleCare – Group that contacts church members by phone to ask for prayer concerns and give encouragement.

Prayer Chains – A chain of phone calls used for passing on prayer requests.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Emergency Response Team – Volunteer professional health care workers who are present during large church events.

Homebound Ministry – Trained Homebound ministers make monthly visits to those in our congregation who are unable to attend services due to extended illness or residency in a care facility.

SUPPORT

Stephen Ministry – Stephen ministers are called and equipped to journey with people in need of special care. Each minister has extensive training and makes a two-year commitment.

Newborn Ministry – A team of volunteers makes care visits to the homes of families with new babies.
